If my wife who is Egyptian and as green card resident sponsors for her brother back in Cairo, how long does it take for her brother to get sponsored and travel to USA?

Thank you in advance for your response.

A greencard holder cannot sponsor a sibling. So first, your wife needs to become a US citizen. After that, it will take about 11 years.

Wife can petition for her brother once she becomes a US citizen.

Currently the wait after petition is approved is approx. 11.5 years. http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_5712.html
