Dawn, what on earth were you doing up so early? I hope you're catching some sleep now! My Sunday will be pretty busy. Got to do some cleaning/organizing at home, then a baby shower at 2, then to New Orleans to perform for a while. Wasn't planning on going to NOLA, but somebody is sick and I'm filling in. It'll be fun. Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday! Janine.... how was that game?

Good Morning to everyone (well I guess it's morning in the USA now hahahaa)

Wow about a week more until Eid... cannot even believe it!

It is just after zuhr here (2pm)...and yet another day went by and I did not take a nap! I keep promising myself I will take nap ...but never get around to it.

Well my husband and I shared a very *special* moment this morning, so elhamdullah shukru for that... I made some crepes for suhour, which he over induged him with... funny cos for me it seems every meal suhour and iftar seems to get smaller and smaller... can anyone relate? I ate one and was more then full. Since it was raining like crazy this morning he decided to pray fajr at home. We prayed together, well not for the first time...but this time it was so meaningful for some reason... after that he recited the Qur'an.

For some reason hearing the soft rain hitting our roof and window just adds such a hypnotizing soothing charm that we both just laid listening to the sonance.

Jean: Wow Subhan'Allah you keep telling us all about these *great moments* you had with your husband...finally I got to had one these moments... :luv: Awww I know I should be listening to the Qur'an right now, but I just had to put in some Billy Currington (She's got a way with me) on my iPod and do all my housework.

I thought I would not have to go shopping or do the laundry as it was raining in the AM, but hahaa no such luck...rain all dried up :(

Today my husband went back to work after 2 days off...feels like we sent a total of 20min together in those 2 days... :( he didnt take me shopping :( in Blida cos there were people fighting in the street...for shame people fighting in Ramadan  but he did take me on a mini-tour of into the mountains in Ain Delfa...to see some monkeys...we got some fresh acaica honey from this beekeeper we found on the roadside, also I picked some bananas off this tree..they were green but I wonder if they will ripen in a brown bag...anyway nice experience...

Got yet another invitation to have iftar with my husand's family. Yea!

Anywho...I hope every has a good day...Here are some pics for you all...

Happy Sunday! Today one of my new construction projects has their grand opening and I have been invited to be there to answer flooring questions. I will take pics and attempt to post them here.

After Mohammed gets off work we will go to his cousin's house for dinner in Hammond, Ind. So my day is full. Hope you all have a great day!

Well for me my nerves are starting to get bad, I am so worried he is going to mess this up. We have interview Tuesday, so when I wake up inshallah he will give the news. Please pray for us.

inshaAllah ta'ala it will go fine

As for me, sitting here, workin on my mounds of homework. Why oh why did I have to take 2 writing intensive courses in one semester? It's literally 10 page og writing a week between the two of them. Good thing I'm a fast typer. See, all those years spent ICQ-ing and MSN-ing Tamer have come in handy. Yaaay 90 words per minute.

Well I woke up for suhoor, prayed Fajr, read some of the Quran and went back to sleep only to wake up at 11am!!! I think I totally overdid it yesterday so today is shot to heck. That's one of the wonders of my disease is that I have to do everyday in moderation or I pay for it the next day. Thing is I felt so good yesterday other than the arthritis pain so I wanted to do as much as possible.

Luckily the kids are with their dad so the only chores I have are to do dishes and laundry. They seem like enormous chores right now though. :( I'm tempted to break fast and take some meds and have some caffeine but it's almost over and I'd hate to give up at this point. Plus the thought of having to make it up later just isn't too appealing to me.

It's nice and sunny here today. :) I haven't heard from my love in a few days because of the problems he's having and wouldn't you know the one time I wasn't on the computer he got on and left me a message to show up tonight. No "i love you" or "i miss you" though so I dunno what's up with that but I'll find out. Seems like if it's not one thing it's another.

Henia that monkey looked soooo cute!!!!!!! Those pictures are so nice...what a gorgeous country!!!!!! You are so very lucky to be there and that moment with hubby just seemed priceless in my opinion. I cannot wait for when I can pray with Usama.

Henia, thanks for 2 things. Understanding all my useless drivel about my "moments" with Moh. Now you understand why its so hard for me missing him. And secondly for the last picture with the clouds. I adore cloud pictures.
