Hi I am PR married to a USC and we are in the process of removing conditions but I am afraid that I have insufficient evidences. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

we have:

2010 Joint lease

2011 joint lease

My DL and my husband's ID with same address (His DL is suspended)

Comcast bills with both names

Health Insurance Cards with both names

My amended Tax returns with w2 (he owes back child support so we don't file jointly)

Collection letters addressed to him

we dont have any credit cards or jont bank account because of his credit.

If you are in financial hardship, you can certainly explain it why you couldn't open a joint account in the letter when sending your ROC packet.

As for your list, it's a bit short. If you can include some affidavit of support from friends and relatives, even some photos will help. Sometimes there are things you can't control.

As the rest? It's really up to the USCIS. Keep your fingers crossed and as long as it's in good faith, you should be fine.

Thanks Steve D. We have affidavits from friends and family and oictures on vacations and so on. I am very worried.

Don't worry. Like I said not everybody can afford the luxury or even necessity items like before, where USCIS would consider it's normal to have.

Give them what you have, and explain in the letter why you couldn't have certain things, attach proof if you can to support your claim.

Send them in and hope for the best.

Oh and the most important, don't worry! Just think your application will be handled by trained monkeys, which is what USICS is made off anyway.

hi,

actually ,i am having the same problem ,i filed on september 2011 with VSC,and i didn't send a lot of evidence,so i am worried about getting an RFE ,however since VSC is working on august 2011 filers, i didn't want to send anything unitil they ask me ,i was afraid that sending more evidence now "a month before" will delay my application more (it happened for couple of people, they moved their files and it took longer to get an answer), so finger crossed because VSC treats each application differently

I sent:

-birth certificate of our daughter

-bank statement showin join account with same adress

-lease contract for 2011-2012

Joint tax return transcripts will be a BIG boost if you have it.

Also prepare some bills with both of your names on it and some affidavit of support, just in case RFE does show up.
