My son had an F2A (PD 12/19/09) interview today at Islamabad embassy. He had a very polite and jolly officer interview him. He was asked basic questions:

Name?

Who applied your case? Mother.

Mother's name?

How long mother has been in US?

Where does mother live in US?

Who does she live with? Her daughter.

How old were you when your sister got married?

Sponsor details?

Sibling details?

Father's details? Where is he? What does he do?

Any international trips you've taken?

What do you study? What do you plan to study in US?

How's your English?

Spell MICHIGAN (lolzzz)

He was done in 90 minutes and was handed over a green slip. CO assured him he is approved and told him he'll receive passport in 1-2 months after some paperwork (AP I guess).

What is the sense behind this question?

It was a joke! My son spelled it wrong anyway.
