Hi all,

this forum has been very helpful to me in dealing with my J1 visa waiver, so I would like to share my timeline with you :)

My waiver was based on No-Objection from my own country.

April 3, 2012

Contacted my own Country Embassy to get the No Objection Statement

April 11, 2012

Documents sent to Department of State by FedEx

(passport, fee (payed by USPS money order), statement of reason, DS-2019, DS-2035 and others)

April 13, 2012

Documents received (FedEx tracking)

April 23, 2012

Embassy sent the No Objection Statement

April 26, 2012

DoS online system showed up my docs :)

Statement Of Reason Received

Passport Data Page Received

Form DS-2019 Received

Form DS-3035 Received

Fee Received

Other Received

May 09, 2012

No Objection Statement showed up online (as received on May 02, 2012)

Favorable Recommendation showed up (as sent on May 08, 2012)

May 17, 2012

Copy of Waiver Recommendation received by mail (address abroad)

May 22, 2012

Copy of Receipt notice by USCIS received by mail (address abroad)

Now I can check my status online :)

USCIS online system shows Initial Review (updated on May 15)

June 01, 2012

Received email by USCIS, online status updated as Post Decision Activity

(I-612 application approved)

Now, I am waiting to receive my waiver by mail :)

Elisa83, i would like to know how long from the day that you got an e-mail for Post Decision Activity from USCIS to the time you have received hard copy of i612 by mail?

2012-07-07 : Sent I-130 to Phoenix AZ Lockbox

2012-07-10 : NOA1 case transferred to USCIS California Service Center

2012-08-30 : NOA2 Approved in 51 days

National Visa Center

2012-09-11 : NVC Received

2012-09-20 : Vaccines Injection (1st Dose of Influvac, Tdap-IPV, MMR, Havrix) at Saovabha

2012-09-20 : Received and Replied DS-3032 via e-mail / Received and Pay I-864 Fee online

2012-09-21 : Applied For Police Clearance Certificate

2012-09-25 : AOS Fee Status Shows PAID / Return AOS packet by USPS

2012-09-28 : AOS packet delivered at NVC

2012-09-28 : Receive IV Bill from e-mail / Pay IV Fee online

2012-10-05 : IV Fee Status Shows PAID / Recieved PCC / Return IV packet by DHL(Thailand)

2012-10-22 : Case Completed at NVC in 41 days

2012-10-24 : Medical Exam and Vaccines Injection (2nd dose of Td and MMR) at Bumrungrad Int'l Hospital

2012-11-02 : Interview date assigned / received P4 via e-mail

2012-11-21 : Received P4 hard copy

2012-11-29 : Applied J-1Visa Waiver

2012-12-12 : Interview at USEMBangkok

2012-03-14 : Sent J-1 waiver and passport

2013-03-21 : Visa Received

2013-03-25 : US Entry ALT

My Previous US Visas

Mar-Jun 2008: J-1(Work&Travel Exchange Student).

Jul-Nov 2008: F-1(UWF Student).

Jun-Jul 2009: B1/B2(Visitor).

May 2011-2012: J-1(Internship) {2HRR}

Hi, I am sorry but I don't remember how long it took exactly, but I believe it was something like 2/3 weeks.

Good luck with your waiver, just try to be relax, though I know it's hard ;)

Thank you so much for your kindness answer, on the uscis website it show that the mail have been sent to me on March 4th so now i really wish to receive it on Monday 11 or latest on 14. Thank you again God bless you.
