Still waiting on my Visa to be picked up from the consulate and couriered to me. :cry:

The RANDOMNESS of how Montreal sends out these things makes no sense. I know for a fact that another couple that interviewed and was approved in Montreal the same day as me received their Visa yesterday. No rhyme or reason for it at all. Being so close to the end of this insane process, I really think "they" get some enjoyment out of frustrating the hell out of people every step of the way. This system needs a MAJOR overhaul.

My Visa packet was ready to be picked up at the courier this morning!! Made the 4 hour, round trip drive to London, Ontario with a friend of mine and had it in my hand at 11:20 this morning! EXCITED!!! Heading to the border tomorrow to activate it and take the furkids to Pittsburgh. Friday, my Hubby and I are heading back here to load the moving truck and we'll finally both be heading HOME together! :luv: :luv: :luv:

I am EXTREMELY grateful to have found this site, for all the support and advice I've received and to finally be at the end of this long journey.

Hey I have a question, if your visa interview is approved, do you get your visa right there or do you have to wait around at the consulate for a few days to pick it up?

Me and My Mexican Hubby...

2009 Met in Mexico and got engaged

2010 I moved to Mexico and got married

2012 I moved back to U.S. by myself to work and send i-130 petition for him.

June 25th, 2012 - our 2-year wedding anniversary!

USCIS - I-130

24 FEB 2012 - NOA1

11 JUN 2012 - NOA2

NVC - MEP

2 JUL 2012 - Case Received at NVC

19 JUL 2012 - Case number, IIN and Beneficiary ID received, gave e-mail addresses!

23 JUL 2012 - Was able to log in and fill out the DS-261 and I made myself the agent! I also stated that I was assisting the beneficiary ( since I signed in as him )

24 JUL 2012 AOS fee available and paid through the payment portal - direct deposit

25 JUL 2012 AOS fee shown as paid!! I-864 package e-mailed to NVCelectronic@state.gov

01 AUG 2012 IV Bill Invoiced and paid

02 AUG 2012 IV Bill shown as paid and DS-260 completed and documents sent!

08 AUG 2012 RFE! :crying: sent passport photos wrong, so re-sent!

15 AUG 2012 case COMPLETE!!! Yay!!

13 SEP 2012 Received Interview Date! OCT. 5th!

20 SEP 2012 Scheduled ASC appointment by calling 7034392313. Two days earlier I logged into the website but it said there were no appointments available. But when I called, they scheduled an appointment for me. :)

it all depends on your consulate, it usually takes a few days in most consulates, so dont plan a flight the next day out lol good luck :dance:

Assuming everything went fine and no 221g, it can take up to 10 days. We received ours in 3 days though, and we're in Cebu!

USCIS

10/01/11 - Filed (2) I-130's

10/04/11 - NOA-1

04/05/12 - NOA-2

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

05/14/12 - Daughter's IV fee invoiced, paid both IV fees - "IN PROCESS"

05/15/12 - Both IV fees show as "PAID"
