The consular officer gave my wife a 221g as they didnt have a translated marriage cert and translated birth cert, asked her to get it translate and reschedule. Well, she ran to the translator got it translated- went back within 45 minutes and got approved! She will be picking up the passport on thursday.

Now our journey moves on to the POE- July 16.

Had my interview at the Sydney consulate today (we rescheduled). All approved!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Sugarz, I was worried about questions about my first marriage too as he was also a USC but it was no issue for us. U will be fine.

Visa stamp and passports will be returned to us within the next five days. I have a final interview for a job on Friday and then we start the moving process. Wears excited and I cannot wait to resign fro my existing job.

Best of luck to all who have their interviews this week. You will be fine.

Hubby went and got his 2 vacines this am and the doctor told him the medical looks good.

Its so exciting seeing all of you guys APPROVED and the person with who wasn't able to get approved on the spot got approved that very same day.

Sorry it took me long to get back because we were very sad. My husband came here because of the interview, it was on 17th of this month and we went prepared. the security asked my husby to wait outside till 8:30 am since that is the time for citizens can get in the room so i went inn alone and i was the first to enter and the first to be called to a window. by the time they let my husby inn, i already too submited the documents i sent in and took my fingure prints. by God's grace he got in right on time for the questions to begin.they were very friendly,both the 3 windows i went to. i was told to bring the police report in my maiden name since i did it using my pasport which bares my husby's name. my husband told the lady we can get it that day so we need a close date but when she checked, she got a week 16th which is next week monday. my husband came here only five days because of the interview and he can't stay more than that because of work and is very expensive when he wanted to change the flight. I pray they approve us on monday because is now getting into us too much and my account is running dry and my husby may soon leave on pay check to pay check if this takes longer than this. so far this what happend on my first interview.
