Ok so my hubby went to the medical and they did everything except give him 3 shots. they said when he comes back to collect the packet they can give it to him. :wacko: Im so confused.

what a strange doctor lol but that maybe the way they do things there, in any case you are almost there... are you getting nervous, i bet you wont be able to sleep the night before, i know i couldnt hahahah :dance:

I have a question guys. I had my interview on 2nd July on IR1 category and visa is approved. When I check my visa stamp in passport it says CR1 category. I'm confused now. Can somebody explain what are consequences of that.

I cant sleep as of this week already, nervous isn't even the word. Im so excited that i wanna just jump on a plan and go be there when he comes out of the embassy.

I just kind of saw a question like this in the "NVC July 2012" disscussion. I would call the embassy now if i were you just to be tripple sure what to do.

Puffff... I'm in the US he's In Trinidad... All dayong I been thinking if to just go to Trinidad just the support.

Well after we interview we r giving it a week to get the visa in hand n then he wants to give his job two weeks notice. He wants to leave on good terms cus u never knw Wat will happen, one day we may wanna move back. Then he comes in the day before his bday. That's y so long. I honselty this.is he need more time to say goodbye but I'm not gonna suggest it :P

I filed single as well and had no issues at all.... if you passed thru NVC then you should be fine, i dont think the officer will look that into the details... besides i think there was a lot of mention about that here where you cant even file married since he doesnt live here with you, or if you have been apart for more than six months... just go onto the irs website, but i am sure you will be fine

omg everyone is before me lolll.

yep they are right filing Single is no big deal. i told my hubby if they ask y to tell them that the tax advisor told me i have to cus my husband is an alien without a social security and on the W2 form i filled out there was spesific instructions to file single if you are married to a spouse with out a social security number residing out of the US.

WE go next week. honsetly i didnt wish it was any sooner. We think they might question my 1st marriage which my husband hates to talk about unless he wants to pick a fight, so it hard for us to pratice those questions grrrrrrrrrrrr

Wife dropped off the interview stuff this morning- going back this afternoon(in about 3 hours) for her visa interview!

Ughhhh- i want to go to sleep but feel so anxious!

Had my interview at the Sydney consulate today (we rescheduled). All approved!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Sugarz, I was worried about questions about my first marriage too as he was also a USC but it was no issue for us. U will be fine.

Visa stamp and passports will be returned to us within the next five days. I have a final interview for a job on Friday and then we start the moving process. Wears excited and I cannot wait to resign fro my existing job.

Best of luck to all who have their interviews this week. You will be fine.

05/03/12 - AOS bill paid via portal & DS3032 accepted

05/04/12 - IV bill received and paid. AOS bill appears as PAID.

05/05/12 - IV bill appears as PAID. Still waiting on replacement marriage certificate.

05/11/12 - DS230 and I864 packages (without marriage cert) sent to joint sponsor before being forwarded to NVC

05/16/12 - marriage cert sent direct to NVC

05/17/12 - I864 and DS230 sent to NVC overnight via fedex - received 05/18/12

05/25/12 - checklist for original marriage and divorce certificates - marriage certificate delivered to NVC

05/30/12 - divorce certificate delivered to NVC

05/31/12 - AOS package accepted - thrilled!

06/01/12 - CASE COMPLETE!!!!!! (email received)

06/07/12 - Interview Date Assigned

06/08/12 - emailed Sydney IV to request earlier appointment - approved 07/03/12

07/11/12 - INTERVIEW DATE - APPROVED

10/06/12 - POE LAX (then onto Seattle)

121 DAYS FROM PETITION TO APPROVAL
