hey guys,

are you all taking the originals or certified copies of all of the items already submitted to NVC, i know that if they have been submitted and accepted by NVC that we dont need to but i guess just in case kinda situation?

Well NVC has all my originals so I am only taking the full photo copy of each package I have sent.

On the P4 email they sent me it states that I have to take to original marriage cert and divorce decree even though I sent these to NVc as response to my checklist. Clearly they didn't make it into my packet and my case was closed without them. :blink:

It means I need to order another copy (3 rd time lucky I guess) to take with me to the interview.

Has everyone completed their medical? If not, when are you ( or your loved one) scheduled?

Also, has anyone tried the DHL tracking tool to see when your package is delivered to your embassy? I tried it but it looks like no packages were sent out last week. Last group of packages I can see were sent on 31 may.

USCIS Stage - 10 days total from package received to approved

03/09/12 - I-130 package sent

03/12/12 - package received

03/14/12 - NOA1 received via email

03/22/12 - APPROVED - NOA2 received via email - USC living abroad (8 days)

03/27/12 - NOA2 received in mail

NVC Stage - 34 days from case number to case complete - including messy RFE

04/27/12 - Case number received (25 days from approval)- sent DS3032 via email

Hi all

Update on my end.

Heard back from the embassy regarding rescheduling my interview. They cannot confirm it until they recieve the interview packages from NVC.

They said that would be around 3rd or 4th week of June and to contact them again then.

Has anyone had any luck tracking their packages through DHL? Or does NVC only send them out after the second week of the month?

NO luck tracking yet.

What are you guys geting ready for to take to the interview?

Im not going to be going but im trying to get a package for my husband to have all the things that he needs to take including the AOS package.

What do you guys have so far?

Hey Sugarz, I saw your post in the June thread about the medical. That sucks. You would have more peace of mind if you could schedule it in advance. There is so much about this process that is so frustrating right?

I have my medical this Friday. Just realized I am up for quite a few shots :blink: So not looking forward to it.

I will take a copy of all packages we have sent. My hubby (USC) lives here with me and we hVe been together for 10 years and married for almost 7 years so we won't take proof of relationship. Also he will be at the interview with me and our son. The NVC lost my marriage cert and divorce cert so I will take the originals with me. Somehow they closed my case without these docs :blink:

Forgot to add I worked out the tracking thing. Do you know what date the NVC sent out your file? I called them today and they said mine has not been sent even though case was closed on 1 June???my embassy won't reschedule the appointment u til they recieve the case file. Hurry up NVC :bonk:

We have no idea wat shots are needed so we'd wait till the medical.

Hubby Prepared? hmmm ive been in this from day one, we didnt really talk about the steps in detail cus i was handling everything. i thought i was going to be in it all the way, but it seems that my ship has stop and i need to hand the hat over to him now. Bascially im now fighting to get him prepared and send him all the docs and forms and eveidnce he needs..... If i leave it up to him he go to the interview with only his letter. he asked me what he needs for the interview, i told him id try to lable everything and send it down in a package.

maybe next week we can try. I think the send your package to the embassy after the interview date is assign not after the case is closed.

I also got the positive respond from embassy to re-schedule the interview if they recieve the package from NVC. Unfortunately, NVC has yet to send the package...its been already more than a week, I got the interview date...

09/20/11- Mailed I-130
09/22/11- USCIS received I-130(09/26/11- sent to CSC,09/27/11- Check Cashed).
09/30/11- NOA1 (NOA1 date 09/23/2011) Jan,2012- update from LPR to US Citizen
03/21/12- NOA2 (Email @11:45pm/ Hard copy received 03/26/12)
[NOA2 Sent to NVC (21day after)USCIS mail out case on April 11th 2012 to NVC

May 2014- Husband is an American Solider with his US Citizenship.
