Hello guys..

This is the letter I received from the US Embassy but i wonder how come my priority date is not here.

Please let me know what's wrong here

Thank you

I am somewhat confused your profile says IR1/CR1 Visa, however your appointment letter says K1 Visa. There is no priority date for a K1. Priority date only applies when LPR is filing for a wife. In the case of K1, only citizen can apply to it and it is always current. So there is no and should not be any priorty date.

sounds like he applied for k3 in order to get his spouse here earlier. With a k3 there is no priority date.

Ok guys.. i need your help here.

Im freaking out now.. i dunno what to do...

I know that before we proceed to next step we are required to pay the necessary fees like AOS and IV .. so i asked my husband to call the NVC just now.. and the people from the NVC told him that he dont need to pay any type of fees in USA side.. just the Phils side only..

im so confused right now.. cuz we had no idea what are the fees that we really need to pay.. before getting an appointment.

Please please help us.

Priority date only applies when LPR is filing for a wife.

The phrase that I put in bold is not correct. Priority date applies for all visas that are in a numerically limited category which includes but is not limited to an LPR filing on behalf of a spouse.
