Ahh!!! He is coming- he is coming!! For those that believe in the sort of thing, I humbly request even the briefest of prayers that he passes without hitch into the US. My husband has a 5 year visitor visa to the US, and he is coming for 2 months. We have only a couple flights and the scary passage at the POE in Detroit, MI before he is on a hop to my home city. (is'A!!)

My tummy if flip flopping... I am so excited/nervous/panicked/zomg...everything all at once. I have only been with him in person for the 2 weeks surrounding our marriage last March. Sometimes I ask myself if it was even real.

Less than 24 hours if it goes smoothly...I will be at the airport.

How did he get a 5 year visitor visa and married to an american?

He got it before he was married to me- married me, and left the country on a visit here. Many years ago he was here 4-5 years as a student. He has a 10 year to the UK, and a visa to Dubai. He travels a bit. :)

There is always the possibility that I will pass that direction. We may do a trip to Chicago. I lived in Springfield area for 4 years, but born down and raised down here in the metro area.

Alhamdulillah!!

He has passed safely into the US in Detroit. He's only a small hop away now :)I dunno what he said to the the people at the gate. I have only a brief voicemail as its still calling "from Egypt" on the tele. I'll update, if anyone's interested, what the process they put him through was.
