About Proof of Ongoing Relationship

Hello!

Im back and another newbie question here :)

Ive seen a guide here mention 'and other written documentary proof.' to add to proof of ongoing relationship...ive gathered, selected, prepared about 50 pages of chat records selected from worth of 2 years of chatting...i wanted to ask if its smart to send them 50-page worth of chat? or should it be much lesser?

of course aside from saved chats we have emails, love letters, receipts from sent gifts... i just also wanted to ask if its not too much to include about 50-page worth of chats, and one more thing, would it be necessary to include saved sms? my fiance uses an online text messaging system so he has it on file and can be placed on printable form...

Looking forward to your comments!

Thanks & GOD Bless! :)

You will need these ongoing relationship poofs for interview at the consulate. But for petition filing, you only need to provide the evidence that you two have met within the past 2 years prior to filing. It's important meet their requirement based on the instruction form I-129F.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3, 5-6)

The guide on VJ is only to give you idea how you would prepare the application. This is a community website where people share their experiences. It is best and important that you need to read through the instruction from the forms provided by USCIS or the embassy in where the beneficiary come from. Any source of true information is based on the government website. You may want to read this http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3, 5-6)

Hi there!

We just recently applied for K1 visa and about the I-129 Cover Letter and everything you mentioned above are all part of your visa packet to be send to USCIS once correctly completed by you and your fiance. Regarding " proof of ongoing relationship " on the listed requirements here, its your Fiance who will provide this evidences that you two have personally met within 2yrs of the date your petition is being filed. Example of evidence such as Passport stamps, airplane boarding passes, hotel receipts, gather 5-6 color photos of you two together most importantly. We dont sent originals, but instead photocopies.

Now, we go to what you were saying proofs of ongoing relationship. Once approved by the USCIS, and scheduled for US Embassy interview oneday, thats the time we bring our prepared evidences that will help establish that the relationship is ongoing and legit. I have already printed emails since 2008 to present time, pictures together during his first and second trip here, to say a few. The minute you recieve your NOA2 they said that is the start of our months of waiting to get approved.Iam one of the people here in that situation so yeah! Hope my message help you in some ways! :)
