Thanks all! I did call them and I just got an email saying that our case is under review and we should receive a decision or notice of action with 60 days of this notice. This is really frustrating since we already waited 5 months and now 2 more months! :crying:

when did they create your service request? i'm just wondering because my hubby called and got a service request on may28 and he never got an email or anything.

2012-06-12 : NOA2 -i don't know why this came later than nvc case #

2012-06-07 : Paid AOS fee

2012-06-08 : AOS shows PAID

2012-06-13 : Sent AOS package to NVC

2012-06-18 : AOS confirmed delivered via USPS in NVC

I'm at 6 months, 2 days. My file is sitting on the RFE shelf at the local office waiting for the evidence I sent in 3 weeks ago to reach it.

USCIS - CSC/LOCAL OFFICE DC

12/5/11: NOA1

4/25/12: Case Transferred to Local Office (DC) for "Additional Processing"

4/27/12: Case Received at Local Office

5/15/12: RFE (daughter's birth cert)

5/15/12: RFE Evidence Sent (never received)

8/10/12: Infopass, evidence handed to officer adjudicating case

8/13/12: NOA2

NVC

8/20/12: Case Received

8/31/12: Case #/IIN Received

8/31/12: DS3032 Sent

9/11/12: ERROR MESSAGE! biggrin.png

9/13/12: AOS and IV bill INVOICED, Made AOS and IV bill payments, Mailed AOS and IV paperwork via USPS Priority Mail

I called on 6/5/12 and the email came to me today.

One guy posted that the VSC has stopped processing most normal cases and switched into full gear on protected status cases. I've contacted my Representative twice, his office expects a response today, though I do not expect it to be very informative. The last time the VSC responded to my Representative's inquiry, they answered a question that I did not ask. I wrote one of my Senators.

one guy? try like thousands of random case numbers will show the VSC is processing the protected status cases just filled in May/June. So if you do the math you will see that NAO2 cases have been put on HOLD.

oh well, it's almost like playing the lotery!

I am a Jan filer (18th Jan) and I am on 186th day, I am still waiting for NOA2. I had put a service request on 2nd july and recieved a reply on 5th July that my file is under review and will recieve a decision or another notice of action within next 60 days... i was not able to believe that 5.5 montha plus 2 more months...that was shocking for me. Now i have approached senator / congressman on 17th and they were going to contact USCIS on 20th July. I hope i get some update on Monday or Tuesday. Now i am really very desperate and frustrated about this whole process, i also know that i still have around 2-3 months more after NOA2 till Interview :( SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME, GOD ARE YOU LISTENING ??

12/06/2011 - Married

01/17/2012 - I-130 Sent

01/18/2012 - NOA1 Date

07/30/2012 - NOA2 Email Received (194 Days since NOA1)

NVC:

07/30/2012 - Case arrived at NVC building

08/20/2012 - Received case #, IIN, gave both e-mail addresses

08/20/2012 - E-mailed DS-3032 (used email template & also attached scanned copy)

08/27/2012 - AOS bill invoiced & PAID online

08/28/2012 - AOS bill appears as PAID

08/29/2012 - DS-3032 accepted

08/30/2012 - IV bill invoiced & PAID online
