I have a yet another question.

Where do we file the crba ? Do we file it with the us consulate or embassy closest to his state(this would be in Vancouver because he resides in Washington state)0r in the province where I live my my child?(Ontario)

What are the different requirments for a child born out of wedlock in this situation it said to contact the consulate or embassy which is what I tried doing and only got an automated line that didn't have the option I was looking for, I then tried emailing but was not sure if it was the correct address..

I need help because I'm running myself around in circles . Thanks for being so patient with me you guys!

Check the embassy/consulate website to get the details on the CRBA process. Start with the consulate closest to you.

Thanks for the reply :) sadly I have done this but doesn't really give me too much information,it only gives information for Americans currently in Canada, which he is not. I am having issues with contacting the embassy because there is no line for inquiries

Yes, The USC parent is the one filing for the citizenship of the child.
