Hello everyone... I'm new here as a member but I've been doing a lot reading on this site before... this is been pretty much my main source of info for all my paper work with my K1 visa and now with the AOS. so thank you all for your postings and help.

so, I need some info and I can't find it anywhere... I live in pittsburgh, I filed the AOS on april 25th, got a notice for my biometrics and pictures and did that already, a week ago I got a pink paper which was a RFE, and to be honest I kinda freaked out, I just didn't know I had to attached W2's and all those things along with the tax return, so I mailed that out same day and yesterday they updated my case to RFE RESPONSE REVIEW and this is what it says:

On June 4, 2012, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I guess that's pretty standard for everyone for what I've been reading... now, this is for my I-485, when I filed the AOS I also filed the paper for a EAD so I have 2 case numbers and when I check for the EAD case that one hasn't updated at all... does it mean that one won't happen anymore since the I-485 says I should wait for a decision within 60 days and I'll just get the green card?... sorry if this is too confusing.

the other thing is.. should I expect at some point within those 60 days to be ask to go for an interview?...

Thank you for reading my post and taking time to reply... I know everyone here understands how draining this whole process is, specially when you really want to get a job and you're not able too yet!!

My EAD never updated, even after I received the card. I also got an RFE for my AOS, and I got that same response review.

EAD takes about three months, so you still have a little bit of a wait. But the approval of the EAD has nothing to do with the approval/processing of your AOS.

Not everyone gets an interview. If they end up transferring your case to California, it's likely there will not be one. If they end up transferring it to a local USCIS office near you, then it's likely that you will.

Nothing to do but wait at this point. You've provided them with the information they've asked for. :)

File for your AP also, if case something comes up and you need to travel. You responded promptly that is what counts, good luck.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

The OP has already filed their paperwork. If they want to file for their AP and have the fee waived, they'll need to include a copy of the NOA1 for their AOS. Otherwise, the OP is looking at an extra cost.

I didn't file a AP cuz I don't really have a reason or need for travel right now so I rather just to wait til I get all my papers together....

now, what's going to happen within those 60 day is what I don't get... would they approve/denied the case or they would send it somewhere or ask for more stuff and make me wait longer than the 60 days mentioned in the first place?

Any of the above are possible.

You will have response from USCIS for your EAD within weeks (windows time is 60 days.) K-1 AOS is now extremely backed up, you aren't gonna have any interview appointment/ status adjustment in like 6 months, someone filed in last Nov still waiting on it. And now it takes some more time to review your RFE response. So patience is your good friend. Good luck.

so I checked again my status on the USCIS website, and now they sent another RFE... anyone knows why they do that?... I sent all the freaking information they asked... yesterday said my case was the National benefit center and now the are asking for more stuff... I mean, I know I have to wait to see the paper to find out what they want, but does it mean my case is not at at NBC anymore??...
