Hello, I have two questions.

1. For Japan the maximum stay is for 6 months a year and upon entry a tourist can stay for 3 months and then fly to south Korea and back for another 3 months. My question is when does this maximum entry get renewed? Is it upon the 1st of january or from the last day you left Japan?

2. I am an American and work as an online web developer, does it matter if I keep working online while I'm in Japan under a tourist visa? Or does that only apply to actually being hired by a Japanese company?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
