I-130 approved but Left USA

Hi

I am US Citizen and I apply for I-130 for my Dad when he came to visit me.

He's 6 month is past and he did't want to wait any longer and he left.

I just got Approval letter from INS, but he is not in USA.

What can I do if I want to continue this process?

Do I need to transfer to my home country embassy?

How about he was over stayed in USA more than 4 month, he will get 3 years bar.

Please Help.

He did enter with b1 visa and I didn't file anything other than the I130.

I just got approval.

If you didn't submit an I-485 then the I-130 will be sent to the National Visa Center. They will contact you about the I-864 fees, and they'll contact your father (or at least attempt to contact him) about his choice of agent and visa application fees. Once you've finished processing at NVC then the I-130 will be sent to the US consulate in your father's home country and they'll schedule an interview.

He won't get a ban for four months of overstay.
