FYI- Most of H1-Bs for example, India/China, are backlogged and brought their spouses under H4 visas. So when the so called H1B got their GC, their spouses also got GC. Remember most of the H1Bs get GC thro EB2/EB3, and that backlogged all the time.

Your logic does not make a whole lot of sense unless we know the quantifiable numbers of F2A in second half of 2010.

So guys stopping repeating this noise again and again unless you dont have a specific data

you dont understand does not mean that other person is wrong....simple thing i want to say is that i know a person who got green card in 2009 after H1B...he lives in usa with his 2 children and spouse....he never filed for his wife and children and decided to file after being citizen....but in 2010 when f2a moved like a rocket he decided to file under f2a and then he applied for adjustment of status in same year 2010 when his PD became current....now he is waiting for adjustment of status ...(he filed in march or may be may 2010).....most of the people who got green card in 2009 and 2010 after H1B filled for f2a in later half of 2010....i hope this will clear you doubt.....

for your knowledge check this website and count the cases in 2010 with comparision to other years....

I dont understand your logic. Who will wait to get married until they get green card. All H1B/F1/L1/J1 whatever 1 are able to bring their spouses and kids as dependents.

"not only H1B but many other people who dont want to file under f2a had been adviced to file under f2a" i have no idea what you are trying to say,.

Bottom line you dont know how many F2A applications filed during second half of 2010?? Do you agree. dont just shoot something as you assume. I hope priority dates move between 4-6 weeks.

just read my answer to other friend....and check the site ....i think this should clear your doubt...

Unfortunately, jhp is right, starting from second half of 2010, demand is getting higher and higher. I am in the same boat with all of you. It looks like VB will move 4-6 weeks for 2-3 further visa bulletins. But it is going to slow down eventually. I hope I am wrong.

I don't think it will be slow, its gonna move same like before 1 or 1,5 month. When volume was low before, it was same movement same slow movement. I didn't see any big jumps in 2009 or 2010, same old movement 1 to 1.5 month. We can't say anything because NVC or DOS like you guys are saying is unpredictable.

I never said you are wrong. You are saying, there is a person who never filed green card for his family and extended his H1B and carrying his green card. But his family is still on H4 and after seeing rapid movement in F2A he applied GC for his family. How many people are there like this situation. I really dont want to argue with you, but hoping priority dates move 4-6 weeks in the future.

Thanks Mrs PJ,

You are very welcome my friend. By the way I have a question about IRS transcript. I have already sent all the documents to my husband, but I have a little bit of concern. Because I don't make enough money, I have a joint sponsor. My joint sponsor make $26,666 for the year of 2011, and she has a dependant child plus her husband. So, by counting my husband as the sponsored immigrant, that makes her household members equal to 4. Therefore, she supposed to make $28,812 for the year to meet the poverty income requirements. Because of this matter, she gave me her morgage information to submit as an asset of $15,000. Do you think that would help? I have also attached her IRS transcript for the years of 2009 and 2010 because she had earned more money back then. 2009: she earned $54,000. 2010: she earned $33,000. Based on what i read on the I-864 filling instrustion:

25. Federal Income Tax Information.

You must provide either an IRS transcript or a photocopy from your own records of your Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years.

Please anybody, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Unfortunately, Jhp and you both wrong. No H1B doesn't want to file Adjustment of status without family, maybe out of Thousand one person can think like you. If i were married on h1b, I would file for my wife without doubt. Let me explain to you that usually USCIS RECEIVED 1000-2500 I130 Applications under F2a. Since PD WAS moved forward rapid face in 2010, many F2a people think it will take less time to bring spouse under F2a and decided to file. So instead of Received 2000 Application every months, USCIS received 3000-5000. It was happened only few months between SEPTEMBER TO DECEMBER 2010.

What I believe DOS will minimize the wait time by moving PD forward at normal way like 1-1.5 months per VB.

USCIS

PRIORITY DATE : FEBRUARY 3RD, 2010

Good Point. Over 95% of Family visas including F2A are given thro CP and managed by NVC. Remaining 5% are given by USCIS. Most of LPRs file for I-130 the moment they get married and capture their PD as rarely few wait to file I-130s.

Look at this liknk http://www.travel.state.gov/pdf/MultiYearTableI.pdf , merely 12700 EB immigrant visas given thro CP as opposed to 200 K family preference categories in 2010.

As far as I know, most of the H1Bs either come with family, or make sure they get married before filing I-485.
