I would gather that the CBP officer would disagree with you. Do you honestly think that the CBP officer will be satisfied with those answers and the questioning will end there? You obviously have little experience in dealing with CBP. By the way, both of those answers are lies. Lying by omission, is still lying.

Noah's scenario is the most plausible and I can see it getting worse than where he ended it..
