Please I have questions on Adjustment of Status AOS for a spouse.

How long does it take?

Is there a fee for this as well? How much?

When is the right time to start applying for AOS?

My spouse will get a conditional green card bcos our marriage is will be one year next month, so less than 2 years. will AOS be the next step after he comes in to the US?

He will receive a 2 year conditional green card shortly after entry into the US. 90 days prior to this card expiring he will need to file to remove conditions. See the guide but you have a time until you need to do this.

Spouses who enter on spousal visas do not file adjustment of status.

They file removal of conditions. It can take anywhere from 5-6 months to a year. Please see peoples timelines and use the correct forum to find your information.

Moving question to removal of conditions forums.

Adjustment is done when you enter with the a K visa ( K1 or K3 ) After 2 years if you enter with a K or a CR1 you remove conditions , but you are still waiting for the first visa according to your timeline so the fees many change before then.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
