Hey everyone! Just wondering if anyone with experience with the London embassy, or any embassy at all really, can answer a few questions for me. I know you need copies or whatever of tax returns and pay stubs. Do the pay stubs have to be originals, or are copies ok? Can I send a mixture of copies and originals? I'm asking because a couple of pay stubs I want to use have some stuff spilled on to them, kinda embarrassing to send dirty ones lol. Also, is an employment letter really necessary? My dad is co sponsoring for us and I want to bother him as little as possible with this. Thanks!

I took along copies of my finance's payslips (you don't need originals). I also took a letter from my fiance's employer as well as copies of his tax returns. They were only interested in the letter from my fiance's employer which they kept.
