Affidavit of Support tax transcript question, and co-sponsor question

Specific question that someone hopefully might be able to answer. For the I-134 affidavit of support you need back tax transcripts. Due to being a student the USC petitioner made less than $8000 for the tax year 2010, and did not file for that reason. Will that lead to any problems if they ask for proof of them from 2010? Or should the last years transcript form 2011 be enough?

Also - as we both work overseas his income will not be counted for the proof of funds. His father will be co-sponsoring us for that - lives in the US, USC and self employed. Therefore (as we understand) only his fathers information will be applicable as a sponsor, correct? Or should we still submit all the information for the USC petitioner, even though none of it will be taken into consideration?

Thank you!

You are only required to provide the most recent year's tax transcript. I believe if you will have your interview in London then you only need the co-sponsor's financial docs, but you should check in your regional forum to make sure.

Ah yes, then do check there. I do not think their requirements are the same. Good luck!
