Hi everyone - I hope no one has asked this yet, I've been searching so as not to repeat questions but haven't found it.

We are currently waiting on the NOA2 which should be here sometime in July. It looks as though it is possible to schedule a medical exam even before we have the NOA2 since we have the case number.

Do you think we are able to do this? My fiance (the English one!) has already gotten up to date with his jabs.

If he tries to schedule a medical at the beginning of July is that trying to get too much of a head start? Do the case numbers change?

Thanks!!!

you cannot schedule medical before you get an interview date at the consulate. You will get a case number when your case is forwarded to the NVC. The number you got from USCIS is just a receipt number. You have to bring your interview appointment letter to the medical exam with you.

Disregard the post from Jordan. It doesn't apply to you because they are CR1 visa and probably don't know London procedures anyway.

You do not know your case number yet for the embassy. EAC or WAC numbers areUSCIS. Your case will hand off to the Dept of State at NVC and get a new DOS case number. Please the entire pinned thread at the top because there's a lot to learn. And read EVERY link on the London embassy website to grasp all the details. It's not all on one page by any means.
