He interviewed in Cairo and while Cairo and Casa aren't the same, they both can be difficult for interviewees. Cairo used to stick ppl on neverending AP but now, like Casa, they outright deny. Which is a good thing, in some cases.

No, never lived there and barely sent any sort of evidence. I didn't front load is what I mean. It seems they made up their minds before my husband even got there if that's possible. His interview took minutes like less than 10. He did have AP afterwards but so did most men coming out of Cairo during that time.

We did discuss many possible questions prior to his interview. He was prepared for just about anything. Thankfully they didn't need to know much. :) Whether people want to admit it or not, attitude plays a large role. You can't go into the interview thinking you're going fool people or that you've got it in the bag because you think you're cute or good looking or smooth acting. Doesn't work that way. The COs are not silly women you meet online who will fall for cute or a bunch of bs sweet talk.

This is the K1 thread so you are on topic. :) And yes, more information about the interview would be helpful not only for the OP but also for any other members who have interviews coming up.

BTW - when my husband had his interview they asked him two questions.

What does your wife do for a living?

Where does she work?

He wore business casual attire - khaki type pants, button down shirt and a jacket/coat because it was December.

I know those questions the interviewer asked him.. but that's not all

as for business casual attire i never tried it before hahaha.. I'm sure i'll look hella cute :P

Oh lord rofl.gif you crack me up with the pretty boy thing.... trust me zzzzz, they will see right past your looks. What do you mean you have never done the business casual attire? What do you wear to some really nice weddings there in Morocco, or just any kind of special events?

Why would you do that? It's not the end of the world. Your fiancee could move to Morocco to live with you if you get denied.

It's not weird to not like weddings, it's just weird you don't have any nice casual clothes to wear. I think your 28 right? So get your big boy B*tt off the stiff couch and buy yourself a nice outfit and no sunglasses plz.

No sunglasses, no hoodies and no spiked hair. If you're 28, try to appear 28 not 18. You want the CO to think you are mature enough to be engaged to a 45 year old woman. That will help convince them you are serious about this relationship and the interview. Going in looking like a frat boy is not going to help anyone take you seriously.

How did you get me? I just made a suggestion in case you do get denied. She could live with you there or you could try to appeal the denial. This isn't about "getting" anyone. This is about being helpful. This is not a game, Zagray. This is about overcoming obstacles to be able to live with the woman you love. Try to take it seriously.
