Can we pin a "visiting while K1 in process" thread?

Hi, I was requested to post this in this forum. Anyone who visits the K1 forum regularly knows that people constantly ask questions about visiting while the K1 is in process.

I was told that a thread was created on this topic in 2007 here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/67796-yes-you-can-visit/

It's already at 19 pages and it would be great if we had one thread where people could post their personal story of visiting and where newcomers could easily see this before starting a new topic that has been asked time and time again (I asked this same question when I first joined the forum since I couldn't immediately find the answer elsewhere).

What does everyone think? Is there a reason why this hasn't been pinned before?

Another +1 for pinning this topic. It's probably the most asked question besides people asking where to send the I-129F petition and how much it costs.

Part One: The K-1 Visa Journey:

USCIS Receipt of I-129F: January 24, 2012 | Petition Approval: June 15, 2012 (No RFEs)
Interview: October 24, 2012 - Review | Visa Delivered: October 31, 2012

Part Two: Entry and Adjusting Status:

POE: November 18, 2012 (at SFO) - Review
Wedding: December 1, 2012 | Social Security: New cards received on December 7, 2012.
AOS Package (I-485/I-765/I-131) NOA1: February 19, 2013 | Biometrics Appt.: March 18, 2013
AP/EAD Approved: April 29, 2013 | Card Received: May 6, 2013 | AOS Interview Appt.: May 16, 2013 - Approved Review Card Received: May 24, 2013

Part Three: Removal of Conditions:

thanks for your input

And from what standpoint or authority does THIS post emanate, huh man? Good grief.

Edited to add: AJ beat me to it, and much more pointedly -- both in the language and in the +1 that I just gave his post.

There's nothing personal in the attacks on the PRETENSE and PRETENTIOUSNESS that you've continuously exhibited ever since you joined VJ. It's out of character for anyone who wants to be or remain a VJ member (in my opinion and surely that of others).

I am certain they will read this one day and maybe even respond.

rade2rising can give you specifics as to which member of the mod team will read this, when, whether he/she will respond and what kind of device they will be using to type their response.

Yeah, you're not a mod. Or admin. So chances are, you won't be advising anything. I'm not sure why you keep posting things like this.

I need to unpin another if I pin this... we try to limit the number of pinned threads. Is this thread still of use being pinned?

I personally don't think so. It's a good topic, however it's not talked about NEARLY as often as visiting during the K1 process is. That one hasn't had a post in it since October of 2011, so it doesn't seem too many people feel the need to add to it. In my opinion, anyway!

I too would vote to unpin the "K1 NOID's at California Service Center" in favor of pinning the thread on visiting while a K1 is in process. The NOID thread is only three pages and hasn't been updated since 2011. The visiting question is asked weekly, if not daily and that thread is already at 19 pages.
