VSC was 5 months for us. It just all depends.

a little less than 5 months, you mean, right?

the fact is.... they used to only take 3 months on average.

so it's around double the time or even more!

you can thank all the NON-US Citizens that want to stay here in the US for protected status.

Update:

VSC average is now 6 months mostly due to the Syria Protected Status Cases.

another update:

after looking at some stats. It looks like the HOLD on the I-130 / I-129 occured at the VSC when they just started working on Jan. filers.

So far we have been put on hold for over 2 months! (Protected Status Cases started in late March)
