Hi Everyone,

I'm in the process of filling out I-134 and was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm not sure what to put as my annual salary. I make a base income plus overtime and bonus. With the overtime and bonus my salary is double. So should I write my base income? or should I write my total income?

I think you should list your base salary BEFORE bonuses and overtime. They are not "guaranteed" from check to check!

You also need a letter from your employer stating start date, title, salary, full or part time. What would your employer write for "annual salary"? They probably are not going to include bonuses and overtime since that is not part of your basic compensation package.

June 6, 2007 - USCIS received

June 11, 2007 - NOA1 for I-485

July 18, 2007 - Biometrics completed

July 20, 2007 - Case transferred from MSC to CSC

July 31, 2007 - AOS Approved - 57 days - Without an Interview!

Aug 06, 2007 - Received Green Card in the mail today!

Jan 8, 2009 @ 8:18PM - Our son was born tonight !!

I-751 - Remove Conditions

July 11, 2009 - Certified Mail to VSC I-751 Package

July 14, 2009 - Check cleared bank

July 20, 2009 - NOA1 & 1 yr extension - Receipt date is July 14. Case# assigned

Sept 1, 2009 - Biometrics completed

Nov 25, 2009 - I-751 is approved. No Interview.

Dec 14, 2009 - 10yr Green Card arrived !

The I-134 also states in the instructions to send a copy of your last years TAX filing and W2. The tax filing for 2005 will show ALL income including your OT and bonuses from work. You could list all of your income and the 2005 1040 Tax retrun will verify this info.

How consistent is your bonus and overtime? If it is consistent, I'd show 2-3 years of tax returns. I'd also say something like $xx salary plus $yy bonus and overtime (3 year average). That way you get to give a more complete and more favorable picture.

I wrote my base salary, but my letter from the employer included the overtime because I pretty much work it every week...so that is how I did it. But that is just me.

1/12/06 Mail I-129f express mail

1/13/06 TSC rec'd

1/23/06 NOA1 from CSC

1/27/06 - Check cleared

7/10/06 - NOA2

7/14/06- rec'd @ NVC

8/14/06- NVC sent petition to Consulate

8/17/06 - Korean Consulate rec'd Petition

8/23/06 - rec'd packet 3 from Consulate

8/25/06 - sent packet 3 back to Consulate

8/27/06 - got confirmation email from Consulate, they rec'd packet three

8/27/06 - requested interview date via Consulate internet site.

9/1/06 - Checked internet site for interveiw date, it was there

9/25/06 - Interview date - APPROVED

9/28/06 - Visa in Zaeems Hand - YEAHHHHH

1/6/07 - leaving for USA

1/20/07 - Wedding Date

1/20/07 - MARRIED!!!!!

2/10/07 - rec'd certified copy of marriage license

3/13/07 - AOS package rec'd at Chicago Lockbox

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/02/07 - "touched"

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

5/22/07 - rec'd Case Pending at CSC email

6/25/07 - EAD card production ordered

7/7/07 - EAD "touched"

7/7/07 - AOS "touched"

8-6-07 - Rec'd EAD Card in the Mail

5-20-08 - AOS INTERVIEW - APPROVED - PASSPORT STAMPED

7-2-10 - Received 10 year green card in mail

If your W-2 documents the "bonus" salary, then list it. If not, then list the base salary.

It appears that the base salary is adequate. Do wish to elaborate on the base salary, to be sure?
