belive me i have read alot ... its just some things are still very unclear to me so i thoguht i would have someone nice enought to spell it out for me lol..

just when i filed for I-130 i submitted

-cover letter

- I 130 form

- g 325 one for me and one for her with attqached passport photos

- natralization certificate

- marriage ceritficate

- my flight iten ( to visit her for marrige)

- 3 photos (of wedding reception)

my understanding is now i must wait to get approval of my I-130 petition than my case is forwarded to NVC where my fiance signs and turns in choice of agent form and i submit and pay for my I-864 .. ( during this process i also get my NVC case number and IIN number .. now my confusion is

WHAT IS THE IV packet and WHEN and through whom are the originals documents submited throught?

Your WIFE (not fiance as you stated above) needs to send the Immigrant Visa (IV) package to NVC when your case gets there. The DS-230 is the immigrant visa application form, which the beneficiary (your wife, in this case) needs to fill out completely but sign ONLY part 1. Also, included in the package are supporting civil documents such as:

-original OR certified copy of birth certificate AND photocopy

-original OR certified copy of marriage certificate AND photocopy

-original OR certified copy of police clearance certificate AND photocopy

-2 pcs US-sized passport photos

-photocopy of biographic information page of her passport

-divorce, annulment, military, court and prison records if applicable

Your wife can send her IV package directly to NVC when the time comes, or she can send it to you in advance. It's your choice. It doesn't matter where it is sent from (or from whom) as long as NVC receives the files.

You, on the other hand, need to submit the AOS package which contains the I-864(EZ) and supporting documents.

Yes that is very true. I just hope that we will not have delays. We have been waiting for 4yrs to be together so I guess I can wait for 1 more year. I'm like you, I'm anxious to get everything ready for when we get our approval. And at times I have to remind myself that I have to wait for 5mons before I hear anything. Keep me posted and I'll update mine as soon as I receive something. Thanks and God bless our journey.
