Hi Everyone!

I got my Spanish police certificate back a couple of weeks ago and sent it off to be translated. Today I went and picked up the translation and realised that on the Spanish police certificate they had spelt my middle name wrong ; Elizabethy instead of Elizabeth. Ofcourse the translator also had to spell it wrong. My question is, will the American Embassy be bothered about this? Should I send it back to Spain and ask them to change it?

I also received my NOA2 on the 14th of May and have so far had none of the paperwork that follows. Whats the usual time frame to hear something? My fiance phoned the National visa centre after 15 days and they have told him to give them another week, as it's suppose to be 15 working days. Is this usual?

Thanks for any help.

You need to have the police report redone. Otherwise it is not your report its for someone with the name Elizabethy.

Just had another thought, I had this Spanish Police certificate done a month ago, I had to send a certified photocopy of my passport, and the Spanish authority put the passport number after my name. I have since sent off for a new passport. I thought my passport number would stay the same, but I got it back yesterday the number has changed. I have received the old passport back so I can show that to the embassy along with the police certificate. Will this be ok or am I going to have to go back to London to get a photocopy of the new passport and send it all off again?
