My fiance arrived here on March 27th 2012 and we're getting married on June 14th, 2012 which is about 80 days from his arrival. I know that the K-1 visa states we need to be married within the 90 days, but does that mean we also need to submit the AOS paperwork before the 90 days also, or can we just submit that without feeling rushed?

I've heard that the 90 days only applies to the wedding, but I just want to clarify. I don't want any legal trouble haha. Thank you!! :)

Progress so far:
October 2008 - First started talking online/webcams.

That's calmed me down a little bit. Even if his I-94 expires, we're still okay? Cause that says June 24th.

Yes, If your going to open a joint account on checking or anything else do it be4 the I-94 expires or you might be turned down by some banks (as we were) . Also get the social Security card if you haven't already gotten it. Yes get married within 90 days is correct. Good Luck to you :)

You're okay to FILE and it doesn't affect your ability to be approved BUT... he cannot work, he of course cannot leave the US and re-enter, he IS out-of-status and CAN be detained by ICE for being out of status. He is unlikely to be deported but you need to know there are risks with remaining out of status.

I had to wait to file mine but I only waited 4 months. Get it done ASAP but there is no penalty for waiting.
