I personally never have, but I'm sure people who aren't sure of their gf/bf intentions do. I wouldn't do it myself, but if I was suspicious about a behaviour change or something I might ask a friend to do so. You would HOPE that your partner knows your typing/writing/spelling style well enough that if you're not super careful about what you're writing they would realise it was you.

It's a HUGE trust issue though. If you don't trust them now, then this one time probably won't be enough for you. So you'll find yourself doing it more and more often. What's the point in that?

This relationship is already raising red flags for you. You have to go with your gut and then verify it with some saavy. Here is a link that gives some ideas on things you can do. I haven't done any of these but you might get a few hints.

If someone tried to chat me up from the same ip address as my significant other I would assume it was him/her. But I would then wonder what he/she was doing on a site under a fake name hitting up on "strangers" :bonk:

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

well you have to understand its human nature to respond to these annoymous chats

I mean if some chick IM you are you immediately going to reply I am married? you are going to be curious and carry on the charade to find out who it is.

So dont be suprised if your girl talk in a flirty manner it doesnt mean she is going to fall for anyone. give her some credit.
