I sent the ds-3032 but from my email address, not my husbands. Does that make a difference?

are you wishing to do Electronic Processing at NVC, since the beneficiary is in Canada? If so, please note the DS-3032 is not used at all.

They do have horrible music and their customer service people are very mean. So there is no way i can pay the AOS and the IV invoice at the sametime???

There's music now? that's a plus.

Since you not have a G-28 submitted with the I-130,

the only way to pay at the same time

is to NOT pay the AOS invoice when it comes in, and

simply wait for the IV invoice to show up.

Then, and only then, are you able to 'pay the two together'.

I've probably read Saylins wiki page a million times. I'm at work and can't access the timeline spreadsheet. Just looking for opinions if I should call.

Yeah, 34 days to be exact. Not a peep back. So we're just considering that money "down the tubes" and he'll head over to his local Commissionaires office in Edmonton this Friday to try again. Hopefully it'll be a fairly quick turnaround time - he's got a clean record, kind of a square really...but he's MY square!

Have you called them back up to see what's going on?

So that's why they send out the false checklist? Cool.

Yeah, very often, after reviewing and accepting a package, they issue a checklist for the other package, even if it's in the building already (they don't check). So, if you do get a false checklist (checklist asking for the other package), then you can assume quite safely that the package has been accepted.

Since your NOA2 date is only June 8th, you still have about 2 weeks left. It's currently taking NVC about a month from NOA2 date to assign case numbers.

Well, first off, you'll be getting the AOS invoiced before the IV one.

I suggest looking at other timelines in this thread to see how long on average it took for people to receive (in business days) the AOS bill after case number, but if I remember correctly, it's typically a few business days. In your case, you're only on your third business day. You do have to give it some time. If by Friday though you don't have the AOS, then call up NVC and inquire.

The only time the two are invoiced at the same time is if there's a lawyer/attorney attached to the case. They're automatically designated as agent, so no DS-3032 needs to be sent in.

DS-3032? You should have sent the DS-261 actually as Canada does online forms (DS-261, DS-260). It's not a huge deal as some Canadians do still send the DS-3032.

Well, you mentioned sending the DS-3032 from your email address. But the DS-261 is completed online. It's not sent through any email address. That's why I was confused.

That's great Hope our case be completed this month so that they can schedule our interview 2nd week of next month <-- but we know that it is not true.
