Just got an email from NVC with a false checklist to submit my IV package

Called NVC to verify it's a false checklist and operator said this email indicates that your AOS package is reviewed and accepted, so you can disregard this checklist email since you have already sent IV package.

So that's why they send out the false checklist? Cool.

Received an email from NVC stating that they do not have any record yet of our petition. Guys how many days it should take before i follow up again for our case? thank you

I finally mailed off IV packet yesterday, supposed to be there by today at noon. So now, just wait and keeping fingers crossed. I will call to see if AOS packet accepted/approved but I assume it is. They got it on June 21. It was nice not to have to make a call but SO thankful for less time for this after almost 9 months at CSC. I think my husband is in disbelief. Hang in there everyone...in all due time.

Well, I just called good ole NVC and they "don't show it as processed yet and can take up to 20 days", blah blah blah. Hhhmmm. And so it goes. It seems everyone gets done in ~less than a week so I can't imagine it will take that long? Going for positive vibes..

Yeah, 34 days to be exact. Not a peep back. So we're just considering that money "down the tubes" and he'll head over to his local Commissionaires office in Edmonton this Friday to try again. Hopefully it'll be a fairly quick turnaround time - he's got a clean record, kind of a square really...but he's MY square!

I think it took my husbands a good month to 6 weeks to get his back. We went in March though in anticipation for this so we'd have it ready.

Okay so I got all my case numbers last Friday and I still can't pay my fees. How long until I'm able? Does this seem to long? Should I call?

Yes you should call them. Did they ask petitioner and beneficiary's email addresses? If so, did you also sent DS-3032 email from beneficiary's email address?

At present NVC is taking about 5 to 7 business days to process AOS package and approximately same time for IV package. You will get some update soon. Don't give up calling to NVC everyday.

I would say CSC is little bit slow in forwarding files to NVC compare to VSC. It takes between 2 to 4 weeks to reach your file at NVC and then another 1 to 2 weeks to get a case number assigned in NVC system.

They do have horrible music and their customer service people are very mean. So there is no way i can pay the AOS and the IV invoice at the sametime???

Of course you can pay both fees at the same time. But most likely, you'll have to put the AOS fee on hold as the IV fee invoice is often released much later (DS-3032 needs to be accepted before IV fee can be invoiced).

AOS invoice gets generated only after case number assigned, whereas IV invoice is generated after they accept your DS-3032. So most of the people do have some gap in between these two invoices.

I sent the ds-3032 but from my email address, not my husbands. Does that make a difference?

Who's the beneficiary? DS-3032 is meant to be submitted by beneficiary.
