I also have had my AOS packge delivered on 6/18 just like smart84 and as of my call early this morning, they still havent even looked at it or reviewed. Hopefully might by today or tomorrow.

Ok Saylin (or any other technical guru!) I need some scanning help.

I scanned in all 42 pages for the I-864, and they come to 24.6 MB. The trick is...I can't seem to get them compressed. I don't have Adobe Acrobat, and I can't download it (shared computer). I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, which does not appear to have a PDF compression method.

I did try to download a "free" PDF compression kit, but it had a virus, so yuck.

Not sure what other options there may be.

It really depends on pixel resolution you chose while scanning documents. I get my FINE JPEG images taken from DSLR camera each picture takes about 7MB to 8MB and still manage to compress it down to 200KB (need to reduce resolution as well) when uploading on internet to share with friends.

What's the original format of your documents? Are they in .jpg, .doc/.docx, .pdf files?

Which OS and MS Office you are using?

If you can't download a PDF program, then you can try re-scanning your papers, but at a lower DPI. Also, for the forms, just scan everything in black and white (there's no color). If your tax information and/or pay stubs and/or employment letter is also just in B&W, then scan in B&W. Might lower the size of each scan.

That makes me sigh a bit of relief! 2 weeks from yesterday until our interview, and I just cannot wait! Hoping these next few days go by really fast!!

I can recommned PDF Shrink FREE AND WORKS!

My PDF went from a whopping 42 MB to a small 7.5 MB using PDF Shrink

Just got an email from NVC with a false checklist to submit my IV package

Called NVC to verify it's a false checklist and operator said this email indicates that your AOS package is reviewed and accepted, so you can disregard this checklist email since you have already sent IV package.
