Sent my IV package yesterday thru Overnight shipping and got it delivered this morning!!!!!!

They have also withdrawn money from my bank account for IV processing fees.

Time to wait for them to review all documents

I called DoS today to see if our case has been assigned an interview date but no dice

I will call NVC tonight after 10:30PM to check if one is assigned.

If not, I will continue to call both sites next week until we are told my wife's interview date.

(Hopefully sometime in August!)

Anybody else notice DoS line is not as user-friendly? lol

After connecting for a visa specialist it rings like 30 times then finally an automated operator says to please wait for the next available agent then it goes back to ringing. LOL

No estimated wait time or waiting music.

Called today. My case is completed!!! Unfortunately my category retrogressed for July and now I need to wait for September, so they can schedule me interview in October.

I sent the IV package on June 14th, was at NVC on June 15th and today the case was complete. 1 week exactly.

PS: I tried to call NVC once at 10:30pm Central Time (11:30pm Eastern Time) and I got a message that I am calling out of their normal business hours. So I won't recommend to give them a try after 11:00pm Eastern Time.

I'm on Eastern Time Zone so I'll call between 10-10:30PM to avoid that message.

I thought they are open till midnight? because on the 'you may have to wait for more than 2/5 minutes' message, they suggest you to call between '8to10am or 930pm and midnight' EST. Probably DST?

I thought they are open till midnight? because on the 'you may have to wait for more than 2/5 minutes' message, they suggest you to call between '8to10am or 930pm and midnight' EST. Probably DST?

That was my impression as well and website says they are open until 12:00am ET. Oh well..... who wants to stay late till midnight to get humiliated by NVC operator

I highly doubt NVC would ever be "slow" with all the VJ members calling in

So I won't recommend to give them a try after 11:00pm Eastern Time.] AND the recorded message at NVC of a lower call volume after 10:30PM I was thinking of a possible reason, didn't say it was the right one.

It also could have been a phone glitch...who knows?!

Yeah, I saw their post. I'm guessing it's just a glitch as NVC is open until midnight, eastern time.
