Could it be thats why we have received the SS# Card but not GC?

Does receiving the GC depend on the Biometrics scan?

Either the fingerprints didn't turn out correctly and have to be re-done, or this was sent in error. Unless this place is in town, I'd call up USCIS to confirm before travelling far.

My IV bill was generated about 21 hours after I received DS-3032 confirmation email. So hopefully your IV bill should be generated in 1 to 2 days.

The SSN card doesn't depend on fingerprints or the green card. Once you've been processed at a POE, your information is sent to the SSA who then deals with you.

The green card definitely depends on the fingerprints as your fingerprint appears on the green card in the bottom right (if I remember correctly). No fingerprint, no green card.

Write the beneficiary's full name, date of birth, and NVC case number. Make sure to write lightly so it doesn't show on the front.

I agree. I'll get on it in a couple days. Today's the first day of my vacation; the spring semester ended yesterday for grades 1-9 schools in Västerås Sweden, and tomorrow is Midsommarafton, so I'm gonna take a couple days to unwind first. But I'll get to it eventually. It's on my to-do-list.

My wife's interview date has finally been assigned, she will have her interview on Thursday, August 2 which seems pretty far away (and took nearly a month to be assigned.) We have been unlucky concerning the length of time of our immigration journey but it will be ending soon I hope! All that's left is for her to get a medical exam, which should be simple since she already lived in the US so I imagine she already has all the necessary vaccinations, and the actual interview which apparently can be very hard in Vietnam.

How do I know when the Consulate recieves the case?

It's only sent to the case after an interview date has been scheduled. Once that's done, you can find out it's been received by calling DOS.
