Just spoke with NVC, my CASE is forwarded to Embassy, :dance: :dance: :dance: Interview date was scheduled on 6th June for July....

I think you have passed their normal wait time of 15 to 20 business days to get your file reached to NVC. Try to escalate by calling NVC and ask for supervisor, and also send an email to NVC.

we already did. we even called up a congressman and we found out that our file is stuck somewhere with the mailing/courier company..apparently they outsourced the mailing system or services of USCIS..

I am right here on the starboard side with you.

Case sent to Embassy 06/14/12, delivered today 06/16/12

Now for the Medical exam on 06/20/12 and then for the interview,

it's been a long time coming!!!!!!!

thats the BIGGEST lesson I also learned during the process...keep calling....they got PAID to receive our calls...lol....

just finger crossed that most of the time you talk to the people who are really helpful and professionally sound...

Yesterday Mr. Sheeshka put in his notice at work and made it for July 20th.. which would be fine, but not what we discussed this entire time (July 1st is what was originally told to me). He wants to stop in Winnipeg for two weeks to visit his family, which isn't an issue, my issue is he keeps changing the date when we are going to leave Canada.Then he says "We should stay in Winnipeg for my Birthday." That's on August 8th. I said, "absolutely not!" Now he's mad at me. I'm getting a little perturbed to say the least.

I wanted to be home mid July. Now we might not get home until the middle of August. My kids start school August 6th, It doesn't look like I'll get home in time to see the kids off to their first week of school.

I hope you guys find a date you both like. I'm not surprised he is putting the date off and you're thinking we've got what we needed let's go.

hoping for a july interview too..was planning to have my husband send the IV package friday but portal says invoiced and not paid yet:( sending it by monday through usps express and it'll be in nvc the next day.. if incase by monday it'll still be invoiced and not paid, can we still send the IV package hoping by tuesday it'll be on paid status?

If I were you, I would wait until Portal status changes to PAID, just in case, if you shared the wrong bank account, your payment will be rejected..and in such a case,"A DAY waiting" will be worth it. but I believe, by 2/3 pm monday, your Portal status will be changed to PAID..( Was it Invoice or IN Progress status on Friday???)

Honestly, I dont see "Interview" happening on JULY....if everything goes smoothly, you will hear interview date schedule around first week of July....Nothing wrong to have FAITH though.....

What was on the AOS checklist that you didn't send? Just curious.

If you've paid the IV fee, you can go ahead and mail the package.

AOS and IV are two separate threads that have nothing to do with each other. If the payment portal says your IV bills is PAID then go ahead and send the package. Work on getting that checklist sorted too.

I am totally bummed

I had a major health crisis, and it's wiped out all my savings, to the point I had to pawns jewelry to pay the electric company and borrow money from family to pay rent. Bad times. I had hoped that money would be coming in this weekend to bring everything to positive values (and to pay for our AOS and IV paperwork!), but it is not going to happen. Looks like now I have to wait for my next paycheck, which is on the last day of June.

I am so frustrated - called NVC daily, dealt with angry operators, hoped and prayed for a quick case number assignment...and now stuck waiting till July to pay and file. >.<
