Congratulations Rubjy - we are all so thrilled for you and now you will be able to attend the baby shower and the birth of your lovely daughter. Praise God.

Question - I am attempting to reschedule my interview although the Sydney consulate the are not being very co-operative. They claim they need the case file sent from NVC before they can reschedule. I am logging into the DHL site with the revised instructions (as per the post) but it appears that the last lot of packages were sent out on May 31. Can anyone please help me with this? I really need to know when my package is on it's way to the Sydney consulate.

Do they only start sending packages after the second week of the month?

Please let me know - thanks!

Visa Approved!!!! Thank you Lord

CONGRATZZZZZZZ

The waiting for my interview date to be scheduled is making me a little bit nuts... I'm still hoping for a July date, but am beginning to think that August is more likely and it's annoying. I am so OVER this process, talking to rude agents and their attempts to make me feel like I'm bugging them by calling to inquire about my case. Just do your JOB, at least try to be somewhat polite as you do it and remember that I am ALLOWED to call and ask about my case. Insert major stream of curse words here.

Thank you for letting me vent. Shutting up now.

WOW i so had money on u geting a date in july cus ur case was closed so early in June.. Well lets hope for at least the end of July before we jump into August. Aug is a good month tho, it's my hubby's and my bday.

I can login yesterday but today I cant, when i login the first window says . . .

The next step in the immigration process isfor the principal applicant to register an agent using form DS-3032, Choice ofAddress and Agent for Immigrant Visa Applicants, which has been sent to theprincipal applicant. Registering an agent is necessary to establish the primarypoint of contact for applicant-related correspondence. The registered agentwill receive all correspondence from the National Visa Center (NVC) related toimmigrant visa application processing fees and applicant document requirements.

And I already sent DS3032 yesterday and received auto response. it is all instructions how you process your AOS, IV, payment etc. but I cant go to the payment portal to check if AOS is already Invoice or not. what stage I am now?

You need to call NVC and ask them for the specific date that they mailed out your package. You can't use that DHL trick until you have your own specific date. It's generally the day after your interview date was assigned, but you need to confirm this with NVC first.

oh i don't know about the medicals yet.. when will it be possible to have the medical? as soon as the case # is assigned? what do we need to bring?

For the Philippines, you just need the first letter NVC sent you that includes the beneficiary's name and case number. Since the Philippines allows advance medicals, you don't need to wait for the interview letter, like most other countries.

What about London, UK?

I believe those in the UK can do advance medicals as well. I suggest you search for your answer in the regional thread, found here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

I seem to keep getting agents at the DoS who don't know what they heck they're talking about. "I'm sorry Ma'am, there is no interview date for your case yet because it's still at NVC." Ummm...yeah, it's still at NVC. They have it UNTIL an interview date is scheduled and THEN they send it to the consulate/embassy. Good Grief! :bonk: Do they train these people in the procedures AT ALL?
