 Amen! That was the worst wait EVER, even waiting for NOA2 wasn't as bad. I know everyone says it, but it will go by fast. Before you know it you'll be in Montreal and having your 10 minute conversation with a CO.

I'm having one of those days where I just want to scream...and cry. Not maintaining a very positive outlook, which is rare for me. At least once we DO have the interview date, I can go into the final countdown. Not having it means I can't give my notice on my apartment yet and we are required to give 60 days notice. I just know I'm going to end up paying for a month of rent that I won't even be living here. Then there's the cost of travel to Toronto for the medical, the cost of the medical, the cost of the flight and hotel in Montreal...it's just overwhelming me today.

I KNOW we're so close to being done and should be happy about that, and part of me really is. Some days this thing feels never ending though.

The waiting for my interview date to be scheduled is making me a little bit nuts... I'm still hoping for a July date, but am beginning to think that August is more likely and it's annoying. I am so OVER this process, talking to rude agents and their attempts to make me feel like I'm bugging them by calling to inquire about my case. Just do your JOB, at least try to be somewhat polite as you do it and remember that I am ALLOWED to call and ask about my case. Insert major stream of curse words here.

Thank you for letting me vent. Shutting up now.

aaw it's frustrating. Wish you get your appointment soon

About four days before we found out our interview date Mr. Sheeshka and I both were on eggshells. We hated being in limbo for those last few weeks.

The cost of everything is overwhelming. Try booking with travelocity, or expedia for your trips. We saved a TON doing it that way.

So I have a question/concern on this note...

I took my tax stuff to a CPA for my 2011 taxes (my first time, usually I use those HR Block folks), and he filed me as Head of Household, as I provide all support for my daughter from a previous marriage. He said I can't file as married as spouse is not in country, made no US income and has no legal recourse to the US. So my taxes are just me....will this be an issue? I asked the CPA several times, and he even called some IRS CPA hotline and they reconfirmed the Head of Household as correct status for my filing. :help: I don't mean to be a worry-wart, it comes naturally!

Oh, if you filed HOH, then that's fine as well. Only certain people with dependents (kids) can file for that while married, and that's fine too.

Pretty much as long as you do not file single, you're fine yes.gif

Hmm. I am not sure which link you are referring too. I am just a bit confused because the medical PDF for Barbados has hepatitis listed as a needed shot. I will look through this thread again for the link you are speaking about. Thank you for your help :)

I'll link it again: http://www.panelphysicians.com/Pages/Age6.htm Hepatitis is for those aged 18 or UNDER.

my IV fee says not invoiced since 06/07 but now it has birthdate and relation, could this mean our ds3032 is accepted and in a day or 2 IV fee will be invoiced? :) wishful thinking:)

Could be. Have you called NVC and asked if your DS-3032 was accepted and added to your case file?

Just called NVC and we have an interview appointment set for July 18th wooohooo. :dancing::D :D :D:dancing:

Grats! kicking.gif

When I try to sign-in to NVC payment portal, it gives me this error message:

"You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

Does anyone else having the same issue?

Please refer to post 2, the FAQ ;)

I have sent the AOS packet and will send the IV packet tomorrow. Today I got a 3 page PDF containing 1) formal letter; 2) Barcode Cover Sheet, and 3) Instructions to submit the IV packet. It says in the formal letter "Please include a copy of othis letter with your correspondence..."

1) Do I need to submit all 3 pages of this PDF in the IV packet with the Barcode Cover Sheet on top of everything?

2) Should I still submit the first Barcode Cover Sheet that I received after paying the IV fee?

Just a few minutes ago, I received the emailed 3032 (we already sent an email with Choice of Agent last Friday), and the I-864 invoice. I immediately paid it. I've been obsessively stalking the payment portal so I guess I can relax a bit for now.

Still no acceptance of the 3032, but I'm hoping it will come soon. Otherwise I will ask my husband to send it again. Now all I need is for the IRS to get my transcript available, argh!

Congratulations to Rujby, and to everyone else getting good news! And may everyone waiting for good news get some soon.

When did you submit your AOS package? I'm assuming NVC reviewed it and accepted it, and then issued this false checklist.

Since it's a false checklist, you don't need to include the bar-coded cover sheet from that package (or any of the pages). Just include the bar-coded cover sheet you already have from the payment portal.

Have you called to see about your AOS package?

Yeah, if you sent it that long ago, then NVC definitely reviewed it. False checklists are issued when the other package is reviewed. And since the checklist wasn't for anything missing/incorrect in the AOS package, then your AOS package was accepted. Confirm with a NVC operator ;)
