My husband called to book a medical Appointment this am and they told him he's calling too soon (what the hell!!!!) couldn't they just give him a date so he can get time off in advance, That's Trinidad for you. I really dont understand that place everything is like pulling teeth with them. If he calls back in 2 week and they tell him they have no date i will book a ticket and go to that office and cause fireworks...... Ok i wont but it will be my intention. Calming down in 3,2,1....... So hows every one doing today?

Wow... I'd suggest he call back at the end of this week and try again.

OK let me foucs my frustration on some thing else:....

Since im not going to the interview any more (awwwww (sound effects) :crying: lol) I am preparing a package to send to my husband.

Contents:

Everything that was in the AOS packet + and updated job letter (i got a raise  (round of applause sound effects).

A copy of the DS230 Immigrant visa application (just incase)

The copy of the I-130 evedience (Skype log, facebook pages, my old passport pages, a few email. )

Money gram receipts

Post cards.

Pictures from wedding and random pictures of us.

My bank statment where he is in trust for (my bank wont put him on with out a SS#)

wedding invitation.

Sending him my us passport, natrulization certificate, birth certificate.

*************************

Will try to get Phone or text log from my cell phone company.

And do a print screen of email back and froth from our work email.

ohhhhh i worte his mom a very emotional letter when we got engaged (cus it all happend so fast that i felt like i had to reasure her that my intetions are good) id ask her to lend it to him to take it.

WHAT else should i send? please help me i will like to get this mailed out this week.

Grats on the raise! kicking.gif Send your husband an updated I-864 to reflect your new current income, as well as a recent pay stub reflecting this, as well as the mentioned job letter.

And for your passport, naturalization certificate, and birth certificate, I wouldn't suggest sending the originals. Make a photocopy of everything and send those. They shouldn't be asked for. Unless it's different in Trinidad...

Saylin or anyone

=)

I dont know if I can send the IV package before my AOS package? Can I?

The IV package is already invoiced, my DS 3032 was accepted too. But i had a problem with my AOS fee, it was rejected.

I paid again now for real, but since I need a co-sponsor my package its not even with my father in law (it's in the post office yet)

Also he said he wants to consult an immigrant lawyer before sending our AOS package cos he is concern about the contract...

So Can I send my IV package since I have it almost ready? and Send the AOS package after?

that way I gain some time and I can have at least the part done.

Thank you guys!

Since the AOS and IV are two completely different tracks, it does NOT matter which you send first. You just have to wait for the respective bill to appear as PAID in the payment portal before sending the package.

Have you called NVC and asked if your DS-3032 was added to your casefile? Have you been logging onto the payment portal to see if the IV bill has been invoiced?

Yes, I've been calling them daily, and I called them just now and unfortunately it is still not added to our casefile. I'm logging daily as well to check if the invoice for IV will show up too. Hope I get a response soon, can't stand the feeling that we are near yet so far away in terms of waiting for it.

Should I try snail mail? But it's gonna be another week or so of waiting.

You can snail mail if you want, but it's a waste of money. You have to realise that NVC gets hundreds and hundreds of emails per day. It's naturally going to take them a bit to get to your email. If you want, you can email it again.

Hi SAYLIN

Grats on getting your case number!

Make sure you ask for 'Invoice Identification Number' and not 'IIN'. And call back and ask them again. You don't need to wait for the email, they have that number in front of them.

Yes, you can email the DS-3032 now.

Hi guys,

I have a question for you. How long it takes between the case # assigned and IV invoice to show up? My AOS fee shows as exempt which is correct since I'm going through employment based green card. When I called NVC, they told me 2-4 weeks for the invoice. Is that your experience?

Glad you got the IIN!

And in your case, you do NOT need the BIN whatsoever.

You can't track your green card once it's been mailed out. There's just a few updates on the USCIS site and that's it. Obviously, if it's been mailed out, then your green card has already been approved and ordered for production. You probably just missed the updates on the site. Again, there is no way to track your green card with USPS from the USCIS site.

Just looked at Laure's profile, I'm assuming she called USCIS and got the tracking number from them. But honestly, this is not necessary. The green card will arrive in the mail. Give them time.

You need to send the DS-3032, have it accepted, and added to your case file before NVC invoices the IV bill. If you do not send the DS-3032, your IV bill will NEVER be invoiced.
