Me (beneficiary) and my wife (petitioner) both got e-mails from the NVC today. They contain pdf files that neither of us can open. My computer (a MacBook Pro) says it can't open the file because the file is empty (the file size is 0).

What does this mean?

Marriage : June 30, 2011

I-130 Sent : November 26, 2011

Just got the same issue right now...

This the AOS fee (one email) and the DS3032 (the other email)

If you have your IIN you can go check the payment portal and pay the fee. If you dont have it yet, call NVC ans ask for that.

I was about to give the good news that my bill was invoiced so I guess you have good news too!

I guess I also need to move to June thread...still waiting for my son's case number before we proceed further with my case...we want to have the same interview date so we need to slow down..my hubby calls NVC everyday & they are telling him that the latest will be June 11 (for a case number to be assigned to my son)...i hope it will be earlier... (F)

- May 24, 2012, Received IV Bill

On a whim I called the NVC, got a very polite lady on the phone, and found out our case has been received! Now to wait for the case number :)

Good luck all, and I hope you get someone just as nice on the phone.

Looks like we both had our case complete same day. I called today had no luck. May be next week some good news. After filing for my wife this has been the first time I don't like weekends. lol

If not today, at least by Monday.....
