09/29/2011 - NOA1 hardcopy received

03/16/2012 - NOA2 from uscis website, no text or email ever recieved

04/17/2012 - received NVC case # IIN & BID in the mail

04/18/2012 - optin email sent, AOS invoiced

04/19/2012 - optin accepted, choice of agent completed online

04/23/2012 - AOS paid, waiting for receipt

04/26/2012 - AOS sent

05/02/2012 - AOS checklist received, also false checklist for ds-261

05/03/2012 - IV invoice email received

Happy news we got our interview date. July 18th

Sad news I can't get off that week to be with my hubby. I wish it could be the week before.

Are you able to call up your embassy, explain your situation, and see if you can get an earlier date (if possible)? I've seen people do this in the past and were successful.

Why would you send the interview letter to the embassy? They know of your interview date already...

And they don't send any information to you. You have to do your medical on your own. For information about the medical, choose your consulate/embassy code from this drop-down: http://travel.state..../info_3739.html Schedule your own medical at a panel physician.

Thanks Saylin. I latter serched yesterday and realized you answered this question before so I now know what to do and what to send to the interview. Anyway I'm done with my medicals today and was ask to come for the result in 3 weeks. Thanks very much :)

We're getting ready to leave Montreal! I'm sleeping better at night, all the stress is gone!!Hubby said it perfect after it was all done "Now I feel like we really are married, we won't have to be apart ever again" When he said that, and thinking back on his answer at our interview the tears started again lol. (L)

Aw. That makes me teary-eyed. I can't wait for the day when me and my wife can say that. Congratulations. I'm happy for you.

Finally got my interview July 9th!

Congrats, and GREAT day - THAT is my birthday :D:dance::dance:

Don't forget it depends on the alignment of the stars, and you must hop on your left foot, counter clockwise, while picking your nose with your right hand, a cup of water in the left and not spill any, and you must do this all on a Tuesday afternoon at 4pm. (I kid, of course)

Awww...isn't it WONDERFUL, the feeling of greatly reduced stress? So amazing - and LOVE the husband's response :D:luv:

A little update. My wife has paid the AOS fee, and I sent in the choice of agent via e-mail on Friday last week.

How will I know they have received the e-mail and accepted my choice of agent (I made my wife my choice, as suggested in the guide here on VJ)?

Do you put MEPxxxxxxx in for the case number or just the numbers in the online form portal I get sign in fail when I try to sign in. Could it be that because I just got my NVC number today. Any help would really appreciate it.

Just called NVC and I got my Case number, my IIN number and my BIN number I'm so excited. Hope everybody waiting gets there's soon!!!!!
