ur leaving behind the life u know and love... seems pretty normal to me to feel like that... you'll be fine!!! :)

Thanks...I was wondering if something was wrong! It sorta hit me on Sunday, because the church I go to put on a farewell lunch. They took a "love offering" and gave me a large amount of cash, it was overwhelming and I've been feeling off-kilter ever since, just a touch melancholy. Gonna miss this place, but many good memories to come, too...

USCIS (192 days, August 24 2011 to March 2 2012. No RFE's).
NVC (30 days, March 12 to April 11. Case expedited due to NVC errors).

Montreal US Consulate, awaiting interview date (14 days, April 12 to April 26).

05/09/2012 - medical in Toronto - passed!
05/22/2012 - interview - passed!
05/25/2012 - visa in hand!!! biggrin.png
06/09/2012 - POE @ YWG (Winnipeg Int'l Airport)

Removal of Conditions submitted March 24, 2014, received March 26, 2014

This is so exciting to see so many folks finally getting to "the end of the road", even if only for now.

I'm really hoping that our processing will be done soon, it would be nice for my hubby's interview to be scheduled before school starts in mid-August, but I'm thinking that may be too much to hope for. I really wanted to attend the interview with him, but no way to do it once school starts. :wacko:

Wow, you're getting started! This part will FEEL like it takes forever, but when you look back at it once you're done - you'll wonder where the time went. Hang on tight, and good luck :D

Unfortunately, your interview (as long as you have a case complete by the end of June) will most likely be in August, probably closer to the end of the month as it's currently taking around 2 months in Montreal from case complete to interview.

LOL...welcome to my world, please enjoy this box of tissues :) At the lunch, people got up and shared some of the memories they had with me (and Trav, because they all met him and love him to pieces too), the woman I sing with sang a song (it was beautiful!), the pastor shared some of HIS memories, then they called me up. When they told me how much was in the envelope, I was in ugly-face sobs. Been weepy ever since. Lol. It's VERY bittersweet...very overwhelming...lol...

Just called NVC and still no case #. Anybody gotten there case number yet my noa2 is May 7 2012 and case recieved at NVC May 21 2012. NVC said to try back at the end of the week I hope they start give out more case numbers soon.

Hey, I'm almost in the same boat - NOA2 May 8th. No word yet. I just keep calling every day! I'll keep up on your profile to see if you got your case #. Good luck to us both!

I'm not surprised. I'm getting pretty fed up with everyone asking if I'm excited.

A group of friends gave me a surprise gift basket last week, full of things that we do together. I was joking - wow guys you should move you get cool stuff but it was sad really.
