Just called NVC and still no case #. Anybody gotten there case number yet my noa2 is May 7 2012 and case recieved at NVC May 21 2012. NVC said to try back at the end of the week I hope they start give out more case numbers soon.

Our NOA2 date was May 11, and NVC just received our case Yesterday (June 4th). Operator said they're currently running 10-15 business days for case number assignment beyond that. It seems we just fell in a very overwhelming time for case transitions and case number assignments :(

I'll be thinking of your case today, saying a prayer that it gets to a number soon!

Oh man...nervous, excited, hopeful, sad to leave family/friends (so many people I'm going to miss SO much!), happy to get to wake up Sunday next to Trav...so many things!!!

I had a lot of catching up to do... so much progress for so many...

Just got an e-mail from NVC about 5 minutes ago and...

:dance: :dance: :dance: CASE COMPLETE!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Hoping for a good week of progress for all with case numbers, bills invoiced, packages accepted, case completes and interview dates! :thumbs:

So after Spending 10 days with my husband and crying down the Trinidad airport yesterday Im back today. btw Miami is the worst airport to connect. Called NVC this morning and Bob picked up right away, he told me no interview date slots were released from Trinidad yet so call back in 2 weeks. I guess there is a lot of us here waiting for interview dates, i hope mine is next mth becuase i dont think my heart can take anymore of this leaving my husband behind thing.

Called DOS already nuthing for me right now, she actually sound upset that i was calling them and said i shouldn't call them until NVC is done with me. Did you get an email? Some say the email comes in a few hours and some has their date and no email yet.

i wish mine to be the 1st week of July too

hehe, try to kick back and relax a little... they do send out an email soon after (within a few hours) the date is assigned so u wont miss out on anything... i stopped calling and i found out via email and it felt sooooo good to not hound the phone all the time...

Just got email from NVC ( P4 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200). Please i'm thinking of sending this letter to the embassy tomorrow to get my package for the medical. Please is this what I should do?

Why would you send the interview letter to the embassy? They know of your interview date already...

And they don't send any information to you. You have to do your medical on your own. For information about the medical, choose your consulate/embassy code from this drop-down: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3739.html Schedule your own medical at a panel physician.

This is so exciting to see so many folks finally getting to "the end of the road", even if only for now.

I'm really hoping that our processing will be done soon, it would be nice for my hubby's interview to be scheduled before school starts in mid-August, but I'm thinking that may be too much to hope for. I really wanted to attend the interview with him, but no way to do it once school starts. :wacko:
