Good morning! Congratulations to everyone and their progress.

So...since case complete I have not called NVC or DOS for an interview date and was not planning to either until the end of the week...but decided, what the heck?

I called DOS first and to my surprise, she said "your husband is scheduled for an interview on July 23rd @ 8:30 am".

I asked her if she knew when it was assigned, but she said she didn't know. I was just curious because I been checking my email like a million times a day since case complete and nothing...

Still, relieved to finally have a date and looking forward to the end of this visa process (although we'll still have to do ROC, but @ least we'll have a break, LOL.)

That just means you completed the DS-261. You can't find out through the website that it was accepted. The only way is by calling up an operator and asking. Or, just waiting for the IV bill to be invoiced as it's only invoiced after the Choice of Agent form is accepted.

Called NVC... still no date. Sigh.

It better be before Aug 3!!! We're having a huge vow renewal reception for our whole family here in FL... lol.

You should get your AOS package ready to go, but don't send it until your AOS bill shows as "Paid". The IV bill has nothing to do with your AOS package.

Called DOS already nuthing for me right now, she actually sound upset that i was calling them and said i shouldn't call them until NVC is done with me. Did you get an email? Some say the email comes in a few hours and some has their date and no email yet.

i wish mine to be the 1st week of July too

I didn't get email yet. Just find out by calling DOS.

Just called NVC and still no case #. Anybody gotten there case number yet my noa2 is May 7 2012 and case recieved at NVC May 21 2012. NVC said to try back at the end of the week I hope they start give out more case numbers soon.

Just got email from NVC ( P4 FOR NEOPOST DS-1200). Please i'm thinking of sending this letter to the embassy tomorrow to get my package for the medical. Please is this what I should do?

both wife's and son's cases 'case complete' on June 1st, 2012 (though didn't receive 'case complete' email notification, but i think i shall trust the NVC operators, they all said: case complete, no further documents needed, and waiting for interview scheduling. Got 'case complete' email notification for wife's case)

son's case approved long time ago, I intentionally delayed son's DS-230 submission to two days before I submitted wife's. Both cases marked 'case complete' on June 1st. So seems a good indicator that the two cases's interview will be scheduled together or same day.
