Hi all:

I am putting together my documents for my AOS interview coming up June 11. Most of the stuff here was already sent with my AOS package, but am also taking some additional papers, plus a copy of my entire application set.

Please run through my list and tell me what I am missing. I am taking the complete set of originals as well as photocopies.

1) Petitioner's US Passport

2) Petitioner's Naturalization Certificate and Name Change Certificate

3) Petitioner's Birth Certificate

4) Petitioner's SSN Card

5) Beneficiary's passport with attached I-94

6) Beneficiary's birth certificate

7) Beneficiary's US Visa (F1 with passport page showing entry stamp)

8) Beneficiary's I-20s (current and expired)

9)Beneficiary's SSN

10)Beneficairy's State ID

11)Beneficiary's OPT EAD card

12) Beneficiary's AOS EAD/AP card

13) Beneficiary's Employment Letter (for OPT period)

14) Beneficiary's Resignation Letter (after filing for AOS)

As Proof of Petitioner's Income for Affidavit of Support:

15) IRS transcripts for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011

16) Petitioner's 2011 W2

17) Letter from Petitioner's Employer as proof of income

18) Four paystubs (including the most recent)

As Proof of Married and Ongoing Relationship:

20) Photo Album with wedding pictures

21) More photos from wedding till now (about six years, some 20 pictures)

22) Marriage Certificate

23)Lease documents showing both names

24)Petitioner's Life Insurance Form Showing Beneficiary's name

25) Petitioner's Medical and Dental Coverage Letter showing Beneficiary's name

26) Medical Insurance Card showing both our names

27) Petitioner's DL and my State ID showing same address

28) Joint Bank account

29) Copies of credit and debit cards showing same number for both names

30) Prints of our Facebook pages showing relationship and mutual friends

I have a feeling I may have missed something. Y'all know how it is, in the days before an interview :bonk:

The Journey

Arrived on F1 visa on 25 Dec 2008. Graduated June 2011. Started OPT Sep 2011.

AOS applied March 21, 2012. GC approved June 11, 2012 & received June 18, 2012.

Exactly three months from start to finish,no RFEs.

AOS Timeline:

Day 01,March 21, 2012: Concurrent filing of I-130/AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago Lockbox

Day 02,March 22, 2012: Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

Day 04,March 24, 2012: USCIS Acceptance Confirmation received through e-mail

Day 07,March 27, 2012: Checks cashed.

Day 13,April 02, 2012 : NOAs received for I-130,I-485,EAD/AP & Biometrics

Day 36,April 25, 2012 : Biometrics Completed at Elizabeth, NJ.

Day 45,May 04, 2012 : E-mail notification for interview received for June 11

Day 46,May 05, 2012 : Received hard copy of interview notice

Day 56,May 16, 2012 : EAD/AP Production e-mail

Day 64,May 24, 2012 : EAD/AP Card in hand

Day 83,June 11,2012 : Interview. Approved same day. Card production email.

Day 84,June 12,2012 : E-mail Notification registering PR status.

Day 87,June 15,2012 : USPS picks up GC from USCIS.

Day 88,June 16,2012 : Received two hard copy mails, approving I-130 & I-485

Day 90,June 18,2012 : 10-year GC in hand. End of GC journey, for now.

Day 0: 03/06/12 Mailed Package

Day 2: 03/08/12 Package arrive @ Chicago Lockbox

Day 11: 03/17/12 NOA's arrive for all 3 forms

Day 18: 03/24/12 Biometric appt letter receieved for 4/16/12

Day 41: 04/16/12 Biometric appt

Day 42: 04/17/12 Called USCIS to fix Name problem at biometric appt

Day 56: 05/01/12 Status updated on website EAD in production

Day 57: 05/02/12 Status updated on website Interview appt 06/05

Day 62: 05/07/12 EAD MAILED!!!

Day 65: 05/10/12 EAD IN HAND!!!

Day 69: 05/14/12 Applied for SSN

Day 74: 05/19/12 SS Card IN HAND!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 Interview @ 8:30am: APPROVED ON THE SPOT!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 around 6 pm received text that updated aproved status on USCIS website

*Some Day between 06/07/12-06/11/12 We received two notices that we were aproved

one for hubby and one for me..do no know exact date because we were out of town*

Day 96: 06/11/12 text received USCIS mailed GC

Day 96: 06/11/12 another text received USPS picked up GC

Day 99: 06/14/12 GC in hand!!!!!!!!!!!

4/02/2012 (Day 11) - Hard Copy of NOA1 in the mail of I-130, I-485 and I-765
4/04/2012 (Day 13) - Received a letter for biometrics appointment for 4/20/2012.
4/20/2012 (Day 29) - Biometrics done
5/03/2012 (Day 42) - Status online changed to interview, scheduled for June 11
5/16/2012 (Day 55) - EAD Card Production, online status update
5/24/2012 (Day 63) - EAD Card in the mail
6/11/2012 (Day 83) - Interview, approved on the spot

05/19/2014 (Day 0) - Mailed I-751

05/27/2014 (Day 8) - Received NOA1
