I129F approved !!! Yippie !!

Now what ? How long ?

Hi, Your case will be transferred to the National Visa Center where it could stay from 2 - 6 weeks. Call NVC in about 7 days to see if they have received your case and get a new case number, speak to an operator not the automated system for that info. Good Luck :)

Congratulations! I think Guangzhou Embassy will get the case, and forward your Fiancee his/her 'packet 3' sooner than 3 months. I'm saying this based on the times I'm seeing for China timelines between people's NOA2 and their interview dates. Good Luck to you!

Congrats! Allow about a week for the USCIS field office to transmit to NVC & NVC to process, another 3 or 4 weeks for Guangzhou to receive the I-797 NOA1, about 1 or 2 weeks to process, about 2 weeks for the Packet 3 to reach your fiancee in China via snail mail, however long it takes to respond, another 2 weeks by snail mail to go back to US Consulate in Guangzhou, at least 2 weeks but more likely 4 weeks for Guangzhou to process, another 2 weeks for the Packet 4 to reach your fiancee, however long it takes to respond (including paying the interview fee & having all notarial certificates translated into English by certified translator), waiting another 2 weeks to receive notification by snail mail of your appointment date which will be at least 3 weeks hence if not 4 or 6 weeks later, then paying more money and flying to Guangzhou for medical exam and vaccinations (unless your fiancee lives in Beijing where she can obtain), attending intake and interview (2 day process), filling out EMS waybill for visa to be sent to your home, flying home (unless you want to fork out another grand for a week's wait in Guangzhou), waiting another 7 days for passport with visa stamp & sealed immigration packet to arrive home, or trying to find out why 2 weeks after you were told you were approved your visa has still not arrived in the mail and the weeks and months keep passing with no word & there's nothing your Senators or anybody can do about it. Hope/plan for the best; be prepared for the worst.
