Your post is very confusing. You are adjusting based on winning the DV lottery?

Also, AP and EAD do not make the interview slower. Totally separate processes.

AOS for my husband

I haven't filled I-131 and I-765 with I-485, since from forums I got impression that it takes a about a month to get an interview letter.

Pardon, that's just goofy. Applying for those with the I-485 doesn't delay anything. Intake for biometrics is parallel, and paperwork processing on the AP and EAD is parallel as well.

Since you have the NOA-1 already, you can submit the I-131 and the I-765 for free (with a copy of that NOA-1 letter)

No, I'm not saying that YER GOOFY, at all.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Ok, if "Lee's Summit" means that I got RFE then it must be related to KCC in Kentucky, now things are getting clearer. I have got 10 days ago an email from KCC to explain why I have a case of 2 and only one person is doing AOS (this is regarding DV fee payment). I have sent explanation on the same day to KCC. Now not going into details that somebody in KCC screwed up thing in the first place since from my paperwork sent to KCC many months ago that should be clear, how things will develop now?

From what I was told speaking with KCC, KCC sends DV fee payment confirmation to USCIS only when USCIS requests for it.

The only reason that I mentioned an RFE in relation to the Lee's Summit address is that when you file an I-130/AOS Package, you only ever know three addresses: Chicago Lockbox, ASC (Biometrics) & AOS Interview locations).

When I got an RFE, I had to send the response to the Lee's Summit address. I would NEVER have known that address or location even existed if I didn't get an RFE.

Of course, YMMV.

Your understanding is goofy, no pardon.

Who said that it delays anything? I didn't submit for EAD since I didn't need it at the time.

Thanks!

When I called USCIS I have been told that my case is in Lee's summit, that is how I heard about that address too. I didn't get anything from Lee's Summit except an email from KCC if that counts as an RFE. It could be also that Lee's Summit is a "normal" processing center before cases are transferred to local state USCIS, but for most that is transparent.

Lee's Summit, MO is the location of the National Benefits Centre where most AoS cases are initially processed.

Ok, so that would mean that I can't expect to get an interview letter until my case is transferred to my state USCIS office.

From what I have read, unless you are K-1 you are unlikely to get a transfer notice saying that your case has been moved from the NBC to Dallas, TX (for example); you will just receive an interview notice in the mail requiring you to appear at office X on day Y.
