Everybody has an opinion. They tell you what they think is correct answer. To this my friend, I suggest you talk to an attorney who deals with immigration frequently. Your case may be simple or complicated. Find a local immigration office and go and talk to an agent. You don't want to waste time and find out that you filed wrong type of visa.

If they do AP and a home visit, asking neighbors about the two of you what will they say? If they will say you two got married you could be in for trouble. In Nigeria many do tradtitional weddings ( totally non legal by Nigerian law ) and so many are rejected K1's for these non legal ceramonies.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I was asking. . If it is.. its common Knowledge that uscis comrs in here.

And ur using ur real name.. u should delete account .. change name.. and then make a new thread.. delete this one..

However..back to ur question.. u can spin this all u want to try and justify u have done nothing wrong.. but u consider urself married.. if uscis gets wind of this.. it may cause u lots of problems.. the main thing is to be honest with government. Not try to find verbal loopholes

And you to Battalion9 and and Bust. What would acutally be most helpful to me is to find someone who was in the same situation that I am in learn from their actually experience concerning Indonesia. Does anyone know of anyone? I will be filing my Petition by June 3rd. It would be nice to hear from someone who has completeed the Indonesian journey from start to finish so that I can know what to expect when I attend the interview with her in Jakarta.
