If it's so hard to understand and comprehend that the Nazi occupied Poland during the WWII and the concentration camps were the Nazi camps and NOT Polish camps, then it must be repeated all over again, till everybody finally gets that. Even the President of the country which aspires to be the most important in the world.

After all we don't say Cuban base in Guantanamo even if the jail itself is in Cuba, right?

I honestly don't know anyone that doesn't associate the terms concentration camp and death camp exclusively with Nazi Germany.

That was my point. Everyone knows the concnetration camps in Poland were 'Polish' only by geographical definition. Even those who deny it ever taking place...

NOw that we can agree on. I bet if you took a poll asking where the concentration camps were, a significant number would not name poland.

I can't help but think there is a "story behind the story" here... it just seems so silly to come after Obama in such a public and demanding way over a simple miss-wording of a sentence.

Odd in this context that there seems to be no controversy over referring to the "Jewish Quarter" as it was officially referred to be the Nazis as the Warsaw Ghetto.
